Nakchu, Tibet
A 900 square meter plot of empty land along the main road in the town of Nakchu will be turned into a community and cultural center for the local people. The ground level along the main road will hold five store fronts with living quarters which will be rented out. The upper level will hold the Community Cultural Center which will be used as a place where the residents can come for health care along with a place for events to be held. The money obtained from renting these locations will be used towards education, clothing and food for the monks and staff at the Monastery.

Tso Pema, Northern India
Drikung Pe-Tsek Nang-Cho Lob-Ling Community Development and Academy of Buddhist Studies will be broken down into three phases as funds are received. As with the Nakchu complex, the land here has also already been purchased and is owned by the Monastery.
Phase 1 - Housing/Classrooms/Library $295,000.00
Phase 2 - Housing/Dining Hall/Staff Quarters $187,000.00
Phase 3 - Prayer Hall/Staff Quarters/Medical Clinic $176,000.00
Total Funds Needed $658,000.00


In addition to construction of the Drikung Pe-Tsek Nang-Cho Lob-Ling Academy of Buddhist Studies, donations are also being accepted to sponsor monks and nuns. For as little as $32.00 per month, you can help to provide a caring and healthy environment for 75 monks and nuns by providing them with nourishing food, educational supplies, shelter, clothing and adequate medical care.
